Best Adapted Screenplay

My favorite is "American Splendor." My prediction is "LOTR". "Mystic River" has a shot, although, as I said in another thread, I think the story fell apart at the end. "City of God" was really good, but I think it's weaknesses are in the story, so I don't think it's got a shot. And it's foreign. "Seabiscuit," I probably won't even see. Eh.

I WANT "Splendor" to get it, but I concede to LOTR at this point.

Bored me to tears, but that's just because sci-fi/fantasy does that to me no matter what. I "get" how much Jackson had to go through to get these done, and how good a job he did.
