I got one of these and logged on a loaded a song. I hadn't used Apple's Music Store but do use their iTunes program (it replaced 3 programs I used to Rip CDs, Burn CD and play music, and does them all as well or better!)

But when you buy the song it's not an .MP3 or ACC(<b>*.mpa</b>) file it's a Protected ACC files <b>*.m4p</b>

What the hell is that? I guess to play it on another player I'll have to burn a CD and Rip that CD to make it a regular file. Oh well, it's free...

I did this on a Windows Machine, BTW

Yeah, pretty much, that's the easiest way to make it an mp3. There are fancier ways people have concocted.

Keep this on the "down-low":

You can tilt the bottles a bit and see inside the caps to see if there is a code for a free song or not.
