Anyone into Airsoft?

I was curious if any of the board members know of or are into Airsoft. Replica weopons that shoot bb's, better than paintball because you don't get that huge welt when you get tagged.

Folks get together for indoor and outdoor skirmishes, usually with a terrorist and counter-terrorist team. My M16 replica looks scarily realistic, and can fire bbs semi and full automatic.

i used to live in a second floor apartment where the front door was in a backyard/ alley. i used to sit on the rail upstairs and shoot my bb gun a guinness pub cans stacked on walls, 55 gallon drums, tree stumps, etc...

don't worry, no one was hurt. occassionally, i'd get a ricochet back at me.

It's CO2 powered, and with a brand new cartidge, it can bury a bb below the surface of solid pine from about 20 feet.

i know it can, it can penetrate people too, but it wont kill them. you have to hit about a 1 in 10000 shot 4 times in a row to kill someone with BB's, they just arent big enough

It's a semi-automatic and can fire at least 20 shots in 5 seconds. Properly placed to the head or heart, it'll do the job.

It can only hold 13 bb's though. But after those first 13 go in, while you're laying there, I can reload and close the deal.
