By this point i think that 102.7 is a horrible radio station and they only brought it upon themselves by tossing the talk shows and trying to be like other radio stations on the air. I seriously think they should just close the whole company down... ron and fez arent coming back, neither are O&A, nothing good is coming back. At least you can say that it was good while it lasted, cuz now it just plain sucks.

Maybe it's time for you to be offended. 102.7 changes 'themes' every few weeks or sooner and what they call programming could be done by a bunch of retarded road-kill monkeys.

Because, it's next to impossible to get an operating frequency on the broadcast bands in NYC. The station would be worth buying if only to shut it down and take its operating frequency, which has been done.

Lets call it WRAF and have a burial ceremony for WNEW. It's dead and doesn't know enough to fall.

i missed the 24/t christmas music too, they only played it last year because they had NO format then and said fuck it lets put holiday music on 24-7 from october to january.

i actually listened to that station alot then because of them playing the music early.

this year only shitty wplj played christmas music on their station.
(when wnew goes to hell AGAIN we can hope next year they will do the xmas music 24-7 again).

funny thing is since R&F/O&A left wnew that 3 or so months of only holiday music gave them their highest ratings.

both radio and tv sucked ass as far as holiday programming went.
why do they NEVER show movies on cable around the right holiday?

Stupid question - the format change from talk to music came on a Sunday Night/Monday morning. After O&A left, what did WNEW play on the weekends?

Was it all-out informercials, or a mix of best of, Saturday Night rocks, and music?

I want to say there was music on the weekends, but I can't be sure.
