God this isn't a record, I could do this sitting on my ass. My God, I've probably DONE THIS sitting on my ass. Who couldn't sit watching 100 episodes of The Simpsons or MST in a row? 52 episodes of MST would be 104 hours. I could do it without napping. Give me coffee, and chair and I'm at it.

I'm on hour 18 without even meaning it...

I'd watch Homicide: LotS

Good call Dan, good call. You start with season one, episode one and by the time Season 6 (start of crap) begins, it's like no time has past. A couple of shows I'll add
* The Simpsons
* The Critic
* Duckman
* Futurama
* MST3K (I think I've actually done this with the Rhino tapes)
* NewsRadio
* Buffy, the Vampire Slayer (in the right mood you'll definitely appreciate the flow and continuing storylines)
* The X-Files (early seasons I could definitely do 48 hours)
* Saturday night Live (even mediocre episodes might have funny moments)
* Beavis and Butt-Head
EDIT:
* The Prisoner
* Fawlty Towers
* Monty Python
* Doctor Who

And think about it, an average season is 22 episode. 22 * 3= 66 episodes. 66 is more than 51. And he was just doing it for the most consecutive episodes, you CAN change stations if you're just going for that record!!

Just give me pizza, Mountain Dew, and Wrestlemania 1 - 17 and I wouldn't have a problem.

I think I could easily do a week plus worth of a Simpsons, South Park, Sponge Bob, Pop Up Video marathon. Does getting up to go to the bathroom count though? I mean, as much as I would want to be a World TV watching title holder, I'm no Al Dukes.

IkeaBoy is right on with the Simpsons and MST3K, two of the greatest shows of all time. But if I was forced to endure 48 straight hours of non-stop TV viewing, only 1 show could ever do: The Honeymooners.

PanterA,

Don't even tell me you've never seen Mystery Science Theater 3000! So brilliant, it borders on sheer stupidity!

It's the show where a guy and his 2 robot buddies are sitting in front of a movie screen and goofing on it the whole time. Sound familiar?

Give me Transformers and GI Joe, or any other old school cartoon and I'd be pleased. Except for Care Bears...or Rainbow Brite...or Strawberry Shortcake...no girlie BS, of course.

Jackie put it best when he said, "YEEEEEEEAAAAAH."

I would try to mix up my schedule, comedy, action, drama, etc. So I would make up a schedule and just repeat it every 24 hours:

Simpsons
Simpsons
Seinfeld
Seinfeld
Raw
Smackdown
Buffy
Charmed
VH1's top 10
A-Team
Charlies Angels
Comedy Central Presents
Dr. Katz
Airwolf
KnightRider
Friends
Just Shoot Me
King of Queens
Everybody Loves Raymond
La Femme Nikita
Baywatch
Baywatch
Conan O'Brian
Sopranos
Sopranos
Larry Sanders
Larry Sanders
Crocodile Hunter
----------------
= 24 hours of programing (repeat till record is broken)
