Ok boys and girls...if you did not know it yet...trains are really big and can kill you (http://www.cnn.com/2004/US/Northeast/02/11/subway.death.ap/index.html)

Bowie, Md.: Berkeley, I'm so glad you're back!; I've really missed The Far Side all these years.

Berkeley Breathed: Yes, thank you, but I don't draw Far Side. I draw Calvin and Hobbes.

That's fucked up.

I know a kid who was killed on the tracks in Rockaway a few months ago, doing the same thing. It wasn't all over the paper because there weren't any witnesses, but it was on camera. He was having a hard time getting back up, the train was coming and he panicked. He was cut in half. His father had to identify the body. He was 16 years old.

Maybe I am being oversensitive, or personalizing the story, but I think to make light of a tragedy like the story I told and this one is wrong. Sure, its not too smart to go down to the the tracks for ANYTHING, but people do stupid shit, God knows I have.

A few links if you think I am making stuff up:

I half expected the first line to be something about you finding out you have a terminal disease! ;p

Seriously, bro, you have to do a better job avoiding the obvious joke.

The "big bully" at the school I went to in 7th grade only had one arm. He had lost the other in a train "incident" a few years prior. How he pulled off the role of "king bully" I'll never know.

How he pulled off the role of "king bully" I'll never know.

By using "strongarm" tactics?
