Okay so you all know I only have started to hear Ron and Fez again in DC recently and last night's was the first I have heard of Paul O's Segment in DC. I love lil Lenay's intro, very funny Lenay. Thumbs up... "predominantly white neighborhood!"

Anywho, my question is... does Paul O "Your Life's A Movie" just do a straight up review now? No Geh Geh Geh's? Say it isn't so.

Thanks in advance.

Yep. No Oscar blurbs. No Geh-geh-gehs.

On the upside, his wife makes the occasional appearance. Those segments are classic.

Wow that was quick mikey boy, danke. Good God, I was getting giddy waiting for a Geh-geh-geh.

Cool, can't wait until Mrs Paul O loses it on the radio. Again thanks.

Occasionally a "geh-geh-geh," will crop up organically, but in general it seems that Ron and Fez are ultra sensitive about not running a riff into the ground. For that, we should all be eternally grateful.

And yet the idea of the producer everyone should hate keeps going on and on and on and on and on and on and on...

Yeah Wonderboy is beginning to sound more and more like Al Dukes. But this time around he doesn't need to be drunk to rundown his friends and associates.

Yeah, that bit should probably be ceremoniously or unceremoniously retired. I just wonder if it's too ingrained in the fabric of the show.

I'm still waiting for Wonderboy to follow in Al and Old Rory's footsteps and do the whole Mr. Pink "I refuse to tip well" rant. Then we'll know the jig is really up.

Feel free to DiFranco me.

Sounded to me like, again, something got screwed up and the segment was pulled before it had a chance to begin. This occurred at least three other times last week.

I think the people calling in and making up Oscar Blurbs was and IS one of the best bits of the show, and personally would love to see it back. Ditto with the Fezitorial.

Some people get tired of it, but I'd like to think if they're seeking to grow in audience; bring back the bits that work and shove them down the new listeners throats. It's gotta beat the Studio 101 screw-ups and the who-hates-who diatribes.

Ack.

DC callers are terrible about comedy pyramids. That's why they are so few and far between. Ever listen to an old NYC pyramid when they go rapid fire back and forth and with callers. This seems like it will never happen in DC and why the pyramids have faded out except for the ridiculously simple.

I wanna know why they don't just contests with a "running champion" as much anymore. They all but abandoned it for a long time but brought it back recently for a big prize.

RayWagner, it is against our policy for someone to have the name of a person on the show unless they are that person. I told you this in an e-mail on Friday, but you haven't responded. Please choose a new board name and PM or e-mail it to me and I will change it. If you don't do it, we will choose a new name for you.

Well...not great, that's for sure.

Sometimes they work here. Sometimes they don't.

The main difference is that NYC callers were in and out...DC callers like to talk. And yet, both groups have so little to say...

Yes. I don't think I'd normally post this on the board, but they've said his full name repeatedly on the air, most notably when he took the spring break with Tenacious C and R&F gave his hotel phone number and room number over the air, and when Wonderboy was briefly made team leader of the old staff.
