Last year I sucked. I did horrible and I honestly didn't care. This year I really wanted to do good, to show my parents that I was smart and I could be a good student, and now I feel so bad about it. I did the best I could and that wasn't even worthy of making the cut. I feel so just horrible.

In my 6.5 years of collage one of the few things i remembered from my History and Philosophy(sp) of Recreation class (yes that is a real class) is that Poem. Butchers and bakers and candlestick makers. Was taught by the rich house wives(much like today's counterparts who suck dick for money and try to tell everyone else what is good for them think that they are "helping" )to the poor kids as a way of maintaining the class system. They were trying to teach kids that not everyone can be rich so it is ok to do phisical work. and they did this while they sent their kids to school to better themselves. so that is what i learned in school

So you have block scheduling too? I have classes that are 85 minutes long, which means 4 classes a day instead of the usual 8 or 9, and you switch classes every half. It's actually pretty kool, cuz its less work and it helps you get used to college classes.

Quit being so hard on yourself, would you? You did well this semester. Not everybody is meant to be an A student. It just is. That doesn't mean you're any less a person for it. I was a straight C student in college. I got the SAME job as someone in my office who got a MASTER'S degree from my college. I make the same money. And I have NO DESIRE to get a Master's degree.

Grades don't mean shit. They won't make or break you.
