I got accepted to Maryland!!

Im so excited, i just can't hide it...ive finally gotten into the school ive wanted to go to since boy hood. 3 years of community college later. Im really glad i went to CC because there was no way i was going to get in to MD out of high school, i wasnt really mature enough to handle big time college, and my grades weren't good enough, even with a 3.5 avg my SATS stunk. Its been a long tough road, but i really feel like things are starting to go my way now....Im really going to enjoy my free major Division 1 football and basketball games..

2 years @ instate rate aint so bad...i think its only about 4 g's a year...and ive only gotten 1 federal loan...a long time ago..plus ive got a pretty steady job and am pretty fiscally responsible..although poverty did force me into CC along with the aforementioned reasons..

*shrugs* i didnt do so hot on the placement exams...i had to take a lot of non credit math...but its okay im not ashamed to talk about it...i feel proud i worked myself to where i wanted to go...


EDIT: I think MD's so cheap cause i will be going to school with 40000 people...

Actually, one of my sister's best friends is the captain of the Maryland cheerleading squad, who quite possibly maybe the most perfect woman alive....She's got a genius IQ(works currently at an Agricultural Research Centre), Dances, speaks 3 languages, sings beautifully, is genuinely funny and is a great cook...

I might get a place with my sister sometime down the line in the next few months, and she might be one of our roommates....

But she has a boyfriend tho....*sigh* :(
