Maybe you can keep an eye on ebay; on occasion I see Rolex, Pateks that sort of thing show up in that range, of course, it is ebay and all though...

I like a good watch myself. I would suggest getting an older watch either on line or at a store that deals in older watches/jewelry. I think you could find something of good quality with a unique look that would really stand out.

I know their trademark y-link-band watch went into & out of style a few years ago, but I've owned a less flashy Tag Heuer for a few years (after being ahead of a trend for the first time in my life by having owned the original y-link) & I love it.

And for daily wear, I wear a G Shock, the best watch I ever had..

Also, I dont know where you live, but there is a store in Westbury called Century 21 and they have a large selection and they are inexpensively priced. Ive seen the same watches in there for $50 less than elsewhere.

there's also one by the world trade center. i believe that it's still there.

also, there's a guy in chinatown who sells breitlings for $10. they break every couple of weeks, but for that price, you can just stock up.

The Hamilton Ventura has been reintroduced (Men in Black), it was around in the 50's and has been updated. Always was a classy watch, and very eye catching.

not for nothing, but i think that place is a glorified tj maxx. everything is ill fitting and it like hey look, a nautica sweater for $20, except it's 6xl and lime green.
