I searched steriods, and didnt find anything, so if this exists and you find it, by all means lock it.
i dont take it as a big deal as most. yea itll make balls go farther, but if you cant hit, that doesnt matter.
for one, we dont know about what happened in the past to say everything is tainted .though it may be, it may not be as well.
seriously, maybe the homer numbers are a little high, but thats not all steriods, probably not much at all.
the balls are smaller and harder, parks are smaller, and pitchers are worse then say the years when howard johnson led the entire league with 28 home runs.
And im sure some pitchers use them too. like i said, all the roids in the world wont help you hit a splitter goin 85

I find it hard to give a shit about most baseball players these days. Money and free agency killed baseball for me. For the most part, you root for a team name instead of a team because the players rearrange every couple years. The reason I like guys like Jeter and Williams is because they're franchise players. They've been with the team for ten years and will retire in pinstripes.

And put Rose in the baseball hall of fame already.

This is devesting to the game of baseball, no doubt. I think of more innocent times in the games grand history in which players got by on skill and talent. I think of my childhood, listening to John Sterling call Andy Hawkins no-hitter. Pondering the fate of the next great thing, Kevin Mass, with Mattingly still at first. Talking with friends in the lunch room about Rags & Pags, and about Winfields home run. I remember the day when players didnt come back after a 4 month break with 35 pounds of solid muscle added. My mind wanders back to the day when a child could look up to a MLB player like Lenny Dykstra and know he achieved his goals on hard work and determination. Those were the days.

But now those days are numbered.



I only hope, no, I pray, that MLB doesnt go the way of the asian pro-bowling tour in which champion Zulmazran Zulkifli had his title stripped of him after testing positive for steroids. Zulmarzran, you broke my heart. I havnt been able to touch a bowling ball since.
