We're usually "beamed" to every floor.
When that doesn't work, we use the laundry shoot.
And when THAT doesn't work, we use the stairs.
So yes, we do have stairs. Three sets of them.

Sometimes I wonder what the point of some of these threads are.

Well I for one find this thread to be insightful. I don't have stairs, Mr. Bleet, but sometimes I stack up saltines from the ground until they reach the seat of my park bench and I pretend that those crackers are stairs!

in the apt house where i grew up there were three flights, the first flight had 18 steps and the two above had 17 each... i would always take two steps at a time 'when going up' and thats how i counted them(except the odd numbered steps when i'd count only 1 at the end)... i never counted them going down, we had nice slippery wood banisters and they were usually the method for going down 'until' i got too big
we have some old 9mm film that was transferred to vhs where we got a shot of my Uncle Tony missing a step on his way up to our apt on the 4th floor... it always makes us giggle
my next eldest brother 'when he was a lad' went out the apt door and down 17 steps on his tricycle but didn't get hurt...
bringing up bags after food shopping kind've sucked...
