Cheap plane flights

What are some of the cheapest websights for plane flightsI can order over the computer? I mean cheap finacially of course.

from my experience they all give similiar prices, but check everyday as they change constantly. if you have desired times you want to leave and come back use something like travelocity and check the airline websites for offers.

other sites offer cheaper prices, but often have many connections and they don't tell you your flight times until you confirm the purchase. so you could be leaving at times you can't make.

It depends on what you mean as far as "cheap". There are still many that use priceline.com, but that typically only works if you are very flexible concerning schedule and connections.

I still go to a place like expedia and travelocity to check out flight numbers/connections. I then go directly to the website for the carrier that I want. Flights typically are cheaper directly on the site.

Keep in mind that there are some airlines like Southwest that do not appear on other sites. You can only fly them through their own website.

Where are you planning on travelling to? I fly quite a bit (I have 3 flights this month) and will be happy to give you more info if you want it.
