I was able to get a 2nd interview with an investment bank in Manhattan on monday. However with previous jobs the salary was already set. Now that I have some tenure in the financial services area the job has a salary range. What is the best way to negotiate, where I can get the most i can get?

start alot higher than you actually expect, and dont be afraid to be firm. if they are talkin money, they want you, so dont worry that they are gonna go to someone else

Try the Lester Burnham "American Beauty" Gay Blowjob Con.
If that doesn't work and things get desperate; pull an Edward Norton/Tyler Durden a la Fight Club and beat the shit outta yourself until he begs you to take a million a year.
Hey, I can dream...
[Edit: Snoogans, that Mod Quote Pic is scary; because I don't see Jay, I see Snoogans, and have to remind myself it aint jason.]

Don't negotiate until they bring it up... if its a large investment bank, also take into account the large bonuses they will generally give at the end of the year. Be prepared though, I have interviewed with a lot of the big investment banks in the city... you could be looking at 4-5 interviews before you come close to an offer.
Don't go too high, or they'll pass you over for the other 200 people waiting for your job, the market is way too tight right now to to try and high-ball them.
What type of position is this for? What is your previous salary? How many years experience do you have?

I have 5 years, I made just over 60 thou last year with my bonus, If i get an offer should I defer a bonus and ask for a few more? Bonuses are charged about 48%, so what should i negotiate?

seriously if you're an investment banker you should be making a hell of alot more than 60 thousand. i fix phones for christ sake and i made a little over 70. i'm not bragging but i think your job is a little more important than mine. as far as advice on negotiations two words my friend... tight pants.
