Awful Front Page Picture

Well, it worked. I usually read my news on-line but when I saw this picture I had to buy the NY Post.

But I think it's awful to show that. Just moments before this girl's death. All on account of selling newspapers no doubt.

Is that a real newspaper or a tabloid?

The New York Times, Washington Post, SanFransico Chronicle and Los Angeles Times look like a real newspapers while USA Today and New York Post (and a bunch of other city's papers I've seen) look like Kid's Newspapers or Tabloid.

Maybe it's just that old timey Font

I think that picture is in poor taste, But people don't seem to care about poor taste unless it's about sex.

for some reason it does not look that disturbing to me. maybe because you have to kind of focus on the figure to realize it's really a person. the clothing looks a little odd, seems like a see-through rain jacket of some kind. the clips of people falling from the WTC were much more disturbing.

I read the Post all the time and I agree, it is one step up from the Star or Enquirer. However, this shot was too much. Imagine being that girl's parents. It's bad enough to have to live with the fact that your daughter killed herself, but then to have a picture of her falling to her death. You also have to imagine that whoever took this picture has more pictures of her falling, most likely her hitting the ground and her dead in a pool of blood. I wonder how much they were trying to sell those for.
