Chile reminds me of several places. The building and culture reminds me of Miami and Puerto Rico. but the climate and geography reminds of a green northern california. Santiago is much like San Francisco, and Vina Del Mar reminds me much of the Napa Valley.

The mountains are the biggest ones i've ever seen. To be up at 10,000 feet and then look up and realize that there are 2 vertical miles of Rock ABOVE you is something out of this world.

One thing i couldnt get used to is the lack of trees. There are no tall trees anywhere. Thought i spent most of the time in the snow where its just rock and well... snow. Even in the cities i noticed only small shrub like trees and some weird cacti.

It was a great trip that i'll never forget.
