Chicken and not Rooster Cow and not Bull

How come we eat Chickens but not roosters? How come we eat cows but not bulls? Any reason. Do men taste worst then women in general? OR just in these animals.

we do eat bulls, we just call them cows. the cos are useful for birthing and milk. we only need a few bulls to impregnate the herd. the rest we eat. same for roosters.

If you ever ate capon, you ate rooster. You wouldnt know the difference by taste though. Bull wouldnt taste any different than cow meat either, so we all probably have had bull a few times and not known it. In most farm settings, the females outnumber the males by quite a large factor, primarily because the females produce offsping as well as milk, or eggs in the case with chickens. The chickens we have, its been our experience that having too many roosters causes fights amoung them and so we have them limited to about 4 for the 20 or so chickens. Above 4, and it gets noisy and quarelsome.
