New O&A vid on Foundry

Did any one download the vid from Foundry with O&A at the Norton roast? I tried to watch it, since it mentions O&A's future plans (satellite), but I couldn't get the sound to work.

Any show that is cancelled (Stern, OA) and sent to satellite will be posted to the super secret location by dedicated fans. I have to laugh when I hear people say they can't get the Stern show anymore or have friends send them tapes up or rig up giant antennae. Ha.

Billy was fighting Jay Mohr. It was a staged fight that most of the people in the studio were not in on. As for a date, it was back before he worked for R&F, when he was known as "Fat Guy" on O&A.

As long as we're reminiscing, I find it sad, utterly sad that the only two survivors of the Titanic known as Talk@102.7 were ironically enough, two Sports Guys... Carton and Sid. And Carton can't even count as being a survivor, since he's on New Jersey radio.

As to all of the mentions of satellite radio; I am at a loss as to what difference it will make to the FCC when they step in to regulate that; as they have already begun.

Just a different transmitter, folks.

FCC, can, will, and in effect, already has landed on the satellites.

Um, HBO? Cinemax? Playboy channel?

Different rules.

XM already has Playboy Radio as one of their streams, and it's probably a LOT more raunchy than O&A could get. Stop acting like the sky is falling.
