To make the show better. Like Artie Lang replacing Jackie The Jokeman. (I just looked at the rules, and you have to do a lot, more than I think John ever did during the 10+ years on the show!)

I don't miss Jackie, but I do miss Fred and Howard doing Jackie's voice. And Robin would pile on sometimes. Classic stuff.

Is John on the tonight show yet?
