a little legal stuff for y'all...

trump would only be able to get the trademark if the phrase has acquired something called "secondary meaning." basically, that means that people have come to identify the phrase with trump's good or service, which i presume would be the show. so... vince mcmahon or mr. spacely or whoever could oppose trump's registration, claiming that people don't associate the phrase only with trump's service, but with their's. if they win, no trademark. there are other ways to stop the registration, as well, but you get the idea. the point is that, if you're right and the phrase isn't really trump's, then he won't get to trademark it.
