vacuum and safety seal equal squirts...

every once in a while i could be prone to spilling something or drop a ziti in the oil and have some oil splash on my shirt. in the last two weeks though i've been victimized a couple times by the safety sealed yogurt container and the safety sealed ceaser dressing container... and sometimes the creamers

it's natural for you to face the container towards yourself as you open the safety seal. you wouldn't expect it to splash as you open it but i'm learning that it does... i'm thinking they use a 'vacuuming' method to withdraw all the air before they seal it and when you open it the air rushes in and makes the liquid squirt a bit(just a guess)


so, has anyone else been squirted?

you know you can gently remove it and that doesnt happen, cause the same shit used to happen with the pull top tin cans

I think you just pull so hard that you jerk the container and the contents comes out and hits you in the face...
