Mac OSX question

How is Panther? Is it better than other OSX versions? I'm
running a G4 with Jaguar. Is it worth it?

my buddy, who does a lot of video and sound work swears by it. says it's stable as shit, though he was trying to show me applescripts he wrote for illustrator cs and it crapped out.

I'm loving every minute of it. But then again, my laptop is more of a media machine for me than an everyday machine.

it is very good stable OS. the fixes to finder makes it easier to get to stuff on your disk. Expose is cool too. X11 server is good also. I recommend it.

ex-apple employee - been using os x fulltime since the beginning. panther is the stablest so far. os x can only get better. still get the crazy hookup on warez - which is dope. amazing software in development for os x. garageband is insane!

the new finder is defintely better. i really like the enlarged view app switch [apple-tab].

Nah, music. All video is on the pc. I have good speakers, iTunes, iPod and a remote control on that machine.
