Yes I turned 17 today, and well, yea...nothing special. :) Those of you that'll get mad by hearing someone else's day, please leave now. I don't want to irritate you all and waste your time by provoking you to make a reply.
Um, quick little rant. Today was a very boring day. I was very depressed as I walked out to the cold this morning with no sunshine. Uh...in school I told only one person it was my birthday (to try and get a dollar out of them, didn't work), but aside from that I told no one else and really didn't want anyone to know. Um, highlight of my day was my niece singing happy birthday over the phone. I don't want to come off sounding selfish, as I tried not to be today, but I must admit I felt very selfish throughout the day like I wanted more, which I hate. Birthdays to me are now being viewed as superficial. It's another day. I thank god that he's brought me through 17 years, and that I'm healthy and in my sound mind. That's all that matters. And as for presents, I got like, one and two cards, and I am SOOOOOOOOOO content. I mean, I really just took the day as any other and even though sometime next week I may get selfish again and wish that I had the money to blow on myself, I'm very happy to just be alive and able to even type this.
