Is Ron Talking In Code???

Everyone knows I listen to the show far too closely, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that I am curious over several drops made during yeterday's shows (3-30-04).



I submit for review:

During the fastest hour, not only were there two stories on satellite radio, but Ron actually made an "inside" Jeremy Coleman reference, to all of his good work (snicker-snicker) over at Sirrus...

Then there was a report about April Fools Day pranks in office settings, which lead to them talking about radio DJs who do jive bits on the air - Ron even did a big-balled DJ voice. That lead to a funny/"awkward" moment when Ron used as an example: "Announcing the Mayor has died." Then they both did the "Ooooh. Mmmm.... Ooooh... Rrrrrrr..." And then they moved on.

In the evening show, when Ron forced Fez to go into the bathroom (please see my wildly popular "Pee Shy" topic over in General Discussion!), Ron tried to help Fez out by quoting a "Dr. James Norton" in regards to bathroom... er...stuff.

Did the fact that the ratings come out lay heavy on his brain yesterday...did he hear from an old friend from those salad days at NEW...is he contemplating following the Air America example and demanding the show be syndicated by satelite radio...was he simply bored and started making up shit to amuse himself, and myself????

Hmmmm...I think the last thing.

After all, he ALSO said yesterday that they (Ron and Fez) were simply "coasting" these days; and while I know it was a joke, and as a listener, I don't agree with it, maybe...just maybe...there was more behind THAT too!

Hmmmmm...maybe if I stick my ear right up to the radio, I can figure more out.
