One of the other message boards I frequent had an article written about in the local paper. Even mentions regular posters by name (not me, of course).

It's going to be a fun day on the BWI board.

Sounds like Heather Dinich isn't exactly supportive of the board.

I wonder if someone criticized her on it. If they didn't before the article, I'm sure they are now.

I assume she prefers that board members post all of their personal information so that any random surfer can then start stalking or stealing the person's identity.

What she fails to mention is that after a while, members of boards begin to know more about the people behind the names. Relationships (even if they are only electronic) become established along with a trust.
