Working for the people who make the SAT and GRE may not be as satisfying as front-line full-time high school teaching; I do miss much of it terribly, but I am reminded that sometimes it's the Students:

I have often wanted to become an English teacher. Not so much for the teaching(though I would be a kick ass teacher), but more for me possibly having a better chance at getting the things I write published.

Mike, in the not too distant future I'm probably going to have to spend a lot of time training a new person in my office. I'm not a big fan of training - it doesn't come naturally to me. Do you have any advice?

rat's ass what these kids think of

old, these kids; when I get old,

Now this is the thought that wakes
me up in the middle of the night...
That when I get older, these kids
are gonna take care of me...

I wouldn't count on it!
