Hey, relax Mark! It's a message board, not life and death. And next time, title the topic "Old School Comedians", or something.

There's someone I forgot to mention; Nick DiPaolo. A guy from Boston who was on a couple of Comedy Central's Comics Come Home. He also appeared on an episode of Newsradio.

I remember he had the FUNNIEST one-liners. "I was listening to some rap music the other day. No by choice, it was in a jeep 5 miles away."
"Jerry Garcia died, who would've thought that health-nut would've kicked off early?"

"THOSE BASTARDS"
-Norman Schwartzkoff

"May God bless us in this trial, comfort us, strengthen our resolve, and make our justice as terrible and certain as His."
-Senator John McCain

When I was just a girl I had a crush on Freddie Prinze. I used to beg to watch Chico and the Man, but my mom got real scared real quick and wouldn't let me watch it anymore. She also tried to discourage (but did not forbid) me from watching Sanford and Son, because I had a crush on Lamont.

I loved John Belushi. I used to sleep over at my friend Janine's house because her mom would let us sleep downstairs and watch Saturday Night Live. I saw the first couple of seasons while I was still in elementary school. I had a HUGE crush on John Belushi. I loved it when he would get so worked up on the weekend update and just throw himself off of his chair.

I loved Gilda Radner, too. She was so cute and sweet.

I adore Bill Murray. I have had acrush on him since SNL, and I love the parts he plays in movies now. He adds so much to whatever he's in. I loved him in Rushmore and Kingpin.

I love Burns and Allen, and I'm so happy, because I found a website which has all of the episodes of their show.

I am a great fan of live standup, and my favorites are (in no particular order):

Marc Maron (his website has a great little short piece called "street interview," which I make everyone watch.)
Jim Norton (who once rescued me and will always be my hero.)
Greer Barnes (who does the best Bill Clinton impersonation, and is also cute and funny.)
Jeff Ross (I especially like it when he reads poems, but everything he says is funny.)
Dave Attell (He has a great website, too. There's a short film on it which shows him under house arrest.)
