People with Yahoo accounts...HELP!!!!!

I have a Yahoo account that I use as my primary mail address. Tonight, I try to log on to check my email. I put my name and password in and it says "invalid Password". I try this a couple more times (maybe I just put my password in wrong), so after a few more times, I choose to try the "forgot my password". I do what they ask, and the screen comes up and says my account was deactivated....also says it was because of either I violated the Terms of Service, inactivity, or I asked for it to be deactivated. I didnt' do any of this. I emailed Yahoo about this and havent heard from them yet (using another email address i have on my parent's AOL account, which was also my alternate email address on my yahoo account). I"m hoping tomorrow they'll reply

Has anyone els have this happen?? It's really freaking me out, considering the email address was my main address and i used it for all my accounts on boards and on hotjob.com.

Ive had similar tings happen but was able to reactivate with one simple click or sign in with name/password like you said you tried to do. hopefully, tomorrow they will clear it up for you.

That happened to my mom. She was using it, so it wasn't inactivity. She still has no idea why they did that. She just signed up for another one.

In general, when an account goes idle, I think they eventually release the ID after a few years.

I'm sure you'd rather not wait for that....
