i've been reading about this since about Sunday night.
Its hardly an outbreak. Its one person that has tested positive, and most likely got it while in Brazil. Also, he's gotten tested every 3 weeks for the last 7 years, and his last negative was somewhere around March 17th.
Of the list of second generations, a number of them have already come back negative, And the only reason the first generation is being voluntarily quarantined for 60 days is because after 30 days the DNA tests pick up only 75%, after 60 days its 99%.

I haven't read the story because I'm at work. Did he know he had AIDS or have reason to believe he was exposed? If he knowingly put them at risk they can sue. If not, tough titty, so to speak. It's not like it's a surprise that having unprotected sex with multiple partners on a regular basis puts you at risk for STDs. There's probably something in the standard porn movie contract absolving the participants of any liability, assuming they have up-to-date tests.

The guy that they are still letting people believe started this fiasco got tested every 3 weeks for his 7 year duration in porn. Getting tested every 2 weeks isn't really gonna be much of a help at all. With a 30- 90 day incubation period, its possible to not test positive for somewhere in 2 months after having gotten the infection.
Lets face the biggest fact, and thats that there is no real thought about the porn people being protected when they're with people outside of porn.
Another thing that is a problem is the leniancy in seeing valid up to date tests. i really get the feeling that this girl that has been found positive may in fact be the real carrier that brought it to the point things are at now.

i wish i had more medical knowledge, then i'd be able to read the viral load findings with some insight, to tell with some real knowledge as to what it could mean. Oh, believe me, i have strong doubts that this guy was the one that brought the disease in.
When you look at the way they have both conducted themselves before and since the diagnosis, and the things people have to say about the both of them, it casts huge amounts of doubt on the idea that he was the original disease carrier in this instance. And hell, the biggest point of doubt comes from how its said that he would have aquired the disease. It's being said that he got it from a girl in Brazil, while at the same time, the same people will say that he couldn't have gotten it from Lara Roxx because the chance of female to male transmission is so slim, so somewhere the information is all fucked up.
Right now, there needs to be an accredited doctor that will actually sit down, go over the true information and speak out on what everything really means. As it stands, after the findings that AIM published last week (more than a week after when they said it was gonna be done), concerning the viral load test results, theres not much more than heresay concerning anything to the contrary, but goddamn, there is a lot of heresay and more and newer coming out all the time, and the amount of documented fact is so minute and coming out so slow.
By the way, i've been wondering what kind of opinions people have about Duke Floored/ Luke Ford. It looks to me like he seemed to really just be hated because was outside of the industry and he wanted the story. Well Luke Ford was more or less, the head reporter for Adultbeat, but as of April 22nd he left because of some problem someone at AVN had with his techniques.
It seems Luke tape recorded an almost inane conversation that he had been party to, in which a guy from AVN was on speaker phone and Luke was in an office with a few other people. Wadd, i missed your post, but i read that thing earlier in the day. Its a bunch of bullshit the things this guy has to say.
