Vidieo Game question

I'm looking to buy the entire set up for vidieo games.
Any suggestions on brand ? I hear about X-Box Play Station etc. I'm looking to play family oriented games like MAFIA, HITMAN the contract, GRAND THEFT AUTO (the one that was banned in all countries) you know nothing to violent.. any suggestions.

I have an x-box. I do not play that often, maybe 2 times per month. I have playaed PS2, it is good but I prefer XBOX. Mafia is great on it, so is the Hitman game. I have not played GTA, but I am sure it is as good as PS2. I would say go with XBOX, you will not be disappointed.

Grand Theft Auto, Hitman and Mafia are on both X-Box and PS2. Some people like X-Box and some people prefer PS2.

Edit: I recommend X-Box and I will be moving my PS2 to my girlfriend's when Grand Theft Auto and Metal Gear come out.

I recommend the Playstation 2. The new Grand Theft Auto will only be available on the PS2 for a certain period of time.

PS2 has more games, XBOX has better graphics.

I'm with Zoom. More selection on PS2, and all the games you want are available for it, along with many more violent games.

But GTA wasn't banned in "all the countries" or you wouldn't be able to buy it.
