Need MS Outlook Help....

My boss asked me to create a distribution list in Microsoft Outlook so he can use to send mass emails out to people in the company. I created it on my pc in my Outlook. I forwarded the distribution list to him but I can't get it to appear in his contacts list. Does anyone know how I can do this?

damn i solved my own problem. i had forwarded the list to my bosses email. then i dragged the attachment into his contacts list. done.

While we're on the subject...

Every goddamned email I send from Outlook at work has an attachment called "header.htm". If you open it, it has the path to my normal.dot word template. I absolutely cannot figure out how to get it to stop doing this (I'm leaving this hellhole of a job tomorrow anyway, but it pisses me off that I can't figure it out, back to Lotus Notes at my new job)

If you send rich text e-mails, I think it might send it with header.htm. As long as it doesnt take up much space you shouldnt have to worry. Try sending a plain text email and see if that gets rid of the attachment.

Missy, I think with that one you need to change to settings from sending messages as HTML to another format, such as Rich Text, or Plain Text.

Though you lose the ability to format your emails if you do.

yeah i can send it plain text without the header.htm but that sucks because i got used to using word as my editor

and even though its a tiny file, when i send people reports and things, they freak out and say "I CAN'T OPEN THIS FILE OMG WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO" when they see header.htm

Add something to your email signature that says "ignore the tiny attachment" or something.
