I'm ok..my moms, dad, cousin who works in north nj and couldnt go back to si is here and my neighbor...all we have unaccounted for from ny is my moms cousins husband, my grandma whos in pa, my cousins best friend, my friends dad, and my neighbors husband. This is so scary....I've never loved my family this much before!!

I also heard a rumor that Grand Central has security checking people before they board the Metro North. Don't know how true but will find out for myself. I don't post much just add my two cents everyonce in awhile. Prayers go out to the victims, famlies and rescue teams. I was on the road in NJ stuck in traffic, able to see the WTC and all the smoke in the distance. This is not supposed to happen in this country. How could anything get past all our security?

I'm ok... I was in Westchester when this happened. Luckily, my sister (who was supposed to be downtown at around 8:30AM) overslept and missed her train, or she woulda been down there. I know that Anna is ok too - she was in Manhattan and had to walk.

Hey everyone, I'm glad everyone is ok that's here so far. Thanks Gwen for asking about me. I work very close to Giants Stadium and I was just getting to work at 8:53AM when the first plane already hit. I was stuck in traffic at that point from all the people getting out of their cars and looking at the skyline. I did the same, much because of the disbelief and shock. Minutes later, I saw with my own eyes the 2nd plane crash into tower 2. Devastating, truly unimaginable. Words just cannot describe what I saw with my own eyes. Sorry I'm rambling on but I'm still in shock, coming home tonight looking at the skyline and they aren't there. It feels like there is no city anymore. I need strength right now and just reading everyone's heartfelt posts has helped me a great deal. Thanks to everyone here, and Reeshy you are one of our nations bravest. My heart and prayers go out to you and the rest of the police, fireman, emt's, nurses, doctors, and volunteers who put their life on the line. Sorry for rambling on but I can't believe this happened.

Thank you. I was considering going back to work in NYC, possibly financial district, but not now. I'll stay here in central Jersey where it's boring- safe, but boring.
