That's hot, right? I have that giant bruise on my right arm. My doctor gave me the depolupron shot in my muscle (I get them once a month), and that was the pretty result. I have had the shot several times, and this is the first time this bruising has occurred. People look at me like I am being physically abused. I like to make up stories of how I got it.

So, did anyone ever get this type of result from a shot? I want to know if the doctor messed up, or if this is something that occurs frequently.

anyway back on topic i use to get allergy shots till the point i couldent stand them anymore

Did you get the shot and then later on do anything like lay on it or excercise in such a way that might have resulted in bleeding under the skin at the site of where the needle went in? The exhertion or pressure at the site of an injection could result in such a bruise. But Im not a doctor, I only play one on TV. lol

it looks like a very faded tattoo... i see the outline of someone's head at the top and letters at the bottom that almost look like YAY...

i've seen people get really bruised after receiving needles in the fold of the arm(above elbow) or forearm...

i remember having alot of pain/soreness after some needles i received as a kid and it was said that the needle had hit the bone, but i'm not sure it's true?
