Time to let the Israeli Military loose on those maggot scumbags.
Time for a U.S. strike on all known terrorist training centers, and time for Congress to grant the CIA more power to monitor our enemies.

CIA more power to
monitor our enemies.
The CIA? More like the NSA!
There is not a form of
telecommunication that leaves
this country that isn't
monitored. OK, so they may not
care that you're calling your
Tante Marie in Paris, but
believe me, there are people
whose entire careers in the
gov't are based on listening
and monitoring communications
to other countries. They know
who did this. The James Bond
shit in the movies is all
real. We have the technology.
I'm sure there are branches of
the gov't no one's ever heard
of!
It's gone on too long--
flatten the Middle East until
not even a fucking cockroach
survives!!!

Alice, I'm sure you are referring to "Project Echelon". I am fully in support of privacy and civil rights but this is war.

LTRooster,
Maybe you can understand. My
dad was a Marine in the South
Pacific during WWII. I am
HAUNTED by the story my dad
told me how he was on patrol
on Tawara (sp?) and as he
walked passed "allegedly" dead
Japanese soldiers, someone
shouted, "Hey!" And just as my
Dad turned around, he came
face to face with a Japanese
soldier aiming his rifle
straight at him. Yes i was
shocked my dad killed another
human being but if he hadn't I
wouldn't have known
the sweetest, most
open minded human being I have
ever known. (yes, even if he
was a marine!) I would never
have known such an amazing
human being if someone hadn't
been watching his back.
It is really hard for me to be
forgiving at this time!

Ms. Fuzzy
I am so proud of the Country!
By the way Marines are some of the greatest Americans that ever lived, Love the Family members that have chosen to be in the Miltary.
It is hard . I have friends that have beed in Somalia in combat that have held there friends GUTS in there hands!
We do not know this pain this hurt! MAYBE we do now!!!!! This is what I have said on these boards!!!! - Love this country - support the people that choose to live in harms way! Tthere are hundreds of police and fireman that have been killed today to TRY to protect us. to paraphrase A FEW GOOD MEN - we live under the blanket of freedom that the miltary provides. there are people that are in harms way at all times. Americans that work in there CUBICLE all day are supporting their Families!
I love YOU and the Americans - PLease God Bless America!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

ALICE - Thomas Jefferson said it best, "The price of freedom is eternal vigelance."
I understand your experiencee with your dad. My dad was a Lt. in WW2, eventually ending up stationed in Germany. The first time I saw the picture of the young guy looking so solemn, and haunted, I didn't recognize that it was my father. Hearing about his war expereinces were very difficult to integrate into the person I knew.
The things that our veterens accomplished in every war, allow us to expereince and take for granted the freedoms we enjoy and take for granted today. The past wars were not "for nothing."
Unfortunately, as long as evil and those who hate freedom exist in the world, there will be a need for a military to protect our lifestyle.
I long for the day where military expenditures can be spent on social welfare programs. Events like the WTC remind us of the importance of an overwhelming superior and prepared military.
Your dad is a hero, Alice. Do not forget that ever.
