The Grey Zone is currently showing on HBO and is the most intense film I've seen on this subject (Nazis killing Jews) or any other.....makes you question what humanity really is.....animals don't treat each other worse.
Why aren't the so called Christian groups touting this movie instead of The Passion?.....gee, let me guess.

Because one movie is about one of the defining moments of their religion and the other has nothing to do with Christianity.

I wasn't too impressed with "The Grey Zone." Mostly, oddly enough, because of Keitel's performance. He's horrendous.

I didn't think it was that good either. I wanted to like it, what with the great cast and all, but it just didn't work. It also doesn't have much that hasn't been covered in other movies: from "The Holocaust" to "The Pianist." So I don't know what the hubub is.

Fuck it from behind.

The only "Grey Zone" I go near is the Jennifer Grey Zone!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH!! Get that shit?! Jennifer Grey! She was in "Dirty Dancing!" Oh shit! That was a good one, wasn't it? Jennifer Grey always reminded me of Gloria Estefan! Anyone else? BE HONEST!

Edit: I mispelled her name! I spelt it Gloria Esteban!
P.S.- I highlighted the letter I incorrectly used for you to make it easy for you.

Why would Christians tout a Holocaust movie? You make no sense.

I don't understand the point of this entire thread. How can this movie be more or less horrific than any other movie about the Holocaust?

I also never understood why the Jewish groups didn't get behind the movie "Ghandi" more.

And while we're at it, I'm pretty sure that there weren't nearly enough NASCAR fans buying tickets to see "Searching for Bobby Fischer", those bastards.

I really didn't see enough Libertarians pushing "Titanic."

For the record, I'm not Jewish and so that's not the perspective I was coming from. I found this film to be more riveting than others I'd seen. It just struck me as more shockingly realistic in the way it was directed. I obviously shouldn't have even brought up the Passion. I was trying to make a point that I wish more people had seen it, but because of the graphic violence, Christian parents may block the movie from their kids (unlike the Passion with similar gore).
I presented convoluted logic (at best) and accept the ridicule.
Oh what a dolt, I am.
I hereby put a citizen's lock on this thread!...
Yeah, that'll happen.

I too have seen "The Grey Zone" and I am not Jewish. Yes I have seen better movies. But to see innocent people , mainly little children being marched to their death is repulsive.
