I know that there are other threads about viruses, but none have addressed this. A blue toolbar has installed itself on my computer. My homepage is set as "searchexe.com" and when I change it, it reads "http://searchexe.com/passthrough/index.html?http://straighttalkamerica.com/" (Straight Talk America is my homepage, but you get the jist). Does anyone know how to kick this bitch to the curb?

Spybot and Adaware should do the trick... and reset your homepage.

I had to remove this same thing the other day from one of my coleagues computers. I used Ad-aware which got it right off. Also check Add-Remove Programs in the Control Panel for programs you're not familiar with. I found a bunch of programs this thing installed in the background.

Also try this if nothing else works. It called HiJack this, and it will reclaim your webapge if you can not reset the homepage.
