Please see my post under
"Unleash the Hounds!"
The first thing I did when I heard the second plane crash into the other tower was head back home and hang the American Flag. I've always been patriotic, but never more so than the past few years. After getting a little older and travelling the world a bit, you really gain a tremendous appreciation for just how great this country truly is.
I also happen to be the son of a Marine, and the grandson of a WWII Vet, so supporting the military is in the blood. I also have several close friends who are NYPD, and I hope and pray they are all right after dealing with all of this.
LtRooster, I salute you and all of America's service men and women, and all of the civil servants who will have their work cut out for them in the days and weeks to come. God Bless.

My father is a world war two vet. Always ready to put the flag out. One of the few people who still celebrates flag day. It's out for any occasion. When the Iran hostage situation was going on, from day one till they were released he had the flag out. Same with Gulf War and any act of terrorisom against us over seas, he's got the flag out. I noticed that you see more flags of other countries hanging on cars and on homes. I think people lose focus on how lucky we are to be in this country and take it for granted. As of today, I notice a lot of American flags hanging on homes that I haven't seen hanging on before. I hope the world sees that this disaster has brought us together and has not weakened our beliefs in this country. Maybe when the culprits see that, they may actually see that they have started something that they didn't think would happen. They don't call it The UNITED STATES for nothing.

We definitely need to keep up awareness or our surroundings and remind those fuckers that we will never forget 9-11.
I still have my flags on my desk at work. I think I am the only one who has not taken them down.
USA.....
Anyone see the new pics of the plane hitting the pentagon. Notice how they do not show the plane in the air. Just the ball of fire at the point of impact. I think we shot it down first.
We want Ron and Fez live in DC.

I'd like to add my support to this, people should take the time to watch the new 9/11 shows. It is a good time to remind ourselves why we must continue to send folks into harms way.

I've heard and seen too many PC, pacifist Chamberin-esqe mumblemouths bitching that we shouldn't be involved militarily. This is complete and utter bullshit, and watching any of the 9/11 shows will demonstrate why.

Fezaesthesia - Prognosis poor...
what happened on sept. 11 is horrible and unforgivable. my deepest sympathys to all those who lost someone that day.

but i just finished watching full metal jacket, and i ready to kick someone's ass!

I love all the worthwhile parts of this country. I mean...why don't we give them Montana to do what they wish with?
They can vent their wacky anger, we know where they are at all times and can kill them at will...and we're renting out an otherwise useless space...what could be better?

I'm not the flag waving fanatic, even after 9/11. If I didn't wave it before then I feel a little hypocritical if I wave it after...
However I have no problems with telling someone who complains TOO MUCH about our Country to "Get The Fuck Out" The doors always open...
Then you have others who feel the United States has all the power and wealth and you know what I say "Our country is only several hundred years old, how old are the countries in Europe and Asia" What the F have they been doing for thousands of years? And, the US is all of the world's countries in one so basically when a foreign country attacks the US or it's citizens it is attacking their own people...
It's nothing but jealousy and hatred...
Although somebody F'd over the American Indian pretty GodDamn bad...

i support the common man. i support the firemen and think it takes a special kind of person to devote one's life to saving others. i also admire anyone who would die for freedom, justice, and liberty. my grandfather was haunted by his war experience and it nearly broke him. he signed up to defend freedom and justice. then 20+ years later he was on the streets protesting the vietnam war. my point being that no government, especially the one that we have a responsibility to scrutinize, should ever be given a blank check.
the COMMON MAN always ends up dying to defend our GOVERNMENT and its policies and not freedom, justice and liberty.
i saw the film on CBS tonight and i was blow away by the selflessness of the brave men and women who died to trying to help people. the film, however only reinforced my desire to truly get to the root of the problem. what happened september 11 was the ugliest display of inhumanity i ever wish to see, but i fear that the root is much uglier.

DO NOT BELIEVE THAT OPERATION ANACONDA WAS A FAILURE!
I am sick of these liberal journalists that are spinning stories to scare the American public and make our military sound like incompetant fools.
The comments that we failed in our latest mission come from Afghan rebel troops that have not gained a single victory in over 5 years in Aghanistan.
I have heard first hand accounts that we are kicking ass over there!
GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Dude, you are hitting the nail on the F'n head...
On the day of 9/11 they were announcing the state where the President was and the airport he was landing at...
All they had to do was say the President was fine and on the job...
there are too many times where I see a reporter asking a controversial or confrontational question just to ask it, to in some way show that they are in charge of the conversation or everyone needs to answer to them...
It happens everytime the Press Secretary gives a briefing...
Before 9/11 the biggest most F'n important thing was Gary Condit, but afterwards it wasn't so F'n important, was it?
they have TOO much liberty...
