Hey, what do you know, there actually was a flying car!
Robert Fulton, Inventor of Flying Car Dies at 95 (http://1010wins.com/topstories/winstopstories_story_131114614.html)
This guy had the life!
Robert E. Fulton Jr., who was there when King Tut's tomb was first opened, drove a motorcycle around the world and invented a flying automobile, has died at the age of 95.
More on the Airphibian, the flying car:
"Airphibian" (http://www.nasm.si.edu/research/aero/aircraft/fulton.htm)
Now that I think about it, they used this concept in 007's The Man With The Golden Gun. Flown by Christopher Lee and Herv‚ Villechaize!
Dee plane! Dee plane! I mean... Dee car! Dee car!
