Any lefties on the board?

I get the feeling the number of left-handed people on this board is pretty low.

I'm a highly improbably person--a left-handed child of two right-handed parents. Plus I have two left handed brothers (there's a .08 percent chance of 3 left-handed children of the right-handed parents).

And i'm sick of yall's doorknobs, screwdrivers, can openers, automobiles, pencil sharpners, college desks, biblical verses, musical instruments, latin word origins...

I can write with both my right and left hand. For the most part though I'm pretty comfortable writing with my left hand. It takes my right hand a little getting used to writing, but after a few minutes I can write normal.

You are not the first person to ask me that Freakshow, but no, I was never forced to do that. Two of my brothers are the same as I in that way. We write with our right hands, but when it comes to throwing, batting, golfing, etc... it's the left.

I find it difficult to teach my student some things (like using utensils) because I tend to prompt him to use his right hand (when it should be his left hand). I have to stop and correct myself all of the time.

I'm righty in most things, but for the one year that I played soccer as a kid, I found it more comfortable to kick with my left foot. From the ages of about 12 to 23, the only person I could consistantly play baseball (& wiffleball, etc.) with was my 6-years younger brother. So to make it fair, I always hit left-handed. I became very comfortble hitting lefty. During this time, I picked up a hockey stick for the first time, so I now play hockey as a lefty.
