It's fake. The commonly (only) given date of attribution given to this quote is 1654. Nostradamus died in 1566. I also did try and find this prophecy in any of his quatrains and centuries and nothing came up. However there are prophecies of the "new city" which are located <a href="http://www.dreamscape.com/morgana/newcity.htm"> here </a>

MADDOG00 - Allow me to deconstruct this Nostradomus quatrain.

1. No religion on earth considers NY to be the "City of God."

2. It was fire caused by exploding jet fuel not thunder that caused the structural integrity of the building to weaken.

3. The US has Bush. We lack a "great leader."

4. The city is not burning. As of now, the 2 buildings that collapsed after the WTC are smoldering.

5. If Nostradomus was such a prophet how come no one applies his writings BEFORE an event happens?

I remember my senior year in high school, the world was supposed to end according to Nos. I was in a Catholic school, and there were actually girls crying, and some saying goodbye to each other. I thought their religion told them NOT to believe poeple like Nos. and to put their faith in their God. But obviously, we're all still here, and we need to FUCK OSAMA BIN LADEN UP! USA! USA! USA!
