My theory is that the cave man / prehistoric man came first and they all got wiped out with the dinosaurs, then God decided that the planet was too empty and created adam and eve.

However, if Adam and Eve were the only people created, where did all the people of different colors come from. Or any other people. Eve was the only woman, did Cain or Abel procreate with her? If so, maybe that's why Cain killed Abel.
