I didn't feel like cooking for lunch. So I looked through the refrigerator and the kitchen cabinents for something easy to make that I could put together with little effort. I had no bread so making a sandwich was out of the question and I'm tired of eating cereal. So what did I do? I got me some crotons, left over spagetti sauce and some mozzarella cheese....popped it in the microwave and Viola---------Pizza Crotons!!! Sounds like a meal to me. :)

Anyone else a Dr. Frankenstien in the kitchen here???

When I was a kid I use to mix bread crumbs into the jelly when making a PBJ sandwich. Gave it a gritty texture.

I sometimes put jolly ranchers on things. Like an apple jolly rancher on an apple, a grape jolly rancher on a grape, and, well, you get the idea!!!!

Here's what you do: You need a penny, a 1" by 1/4" piece of card (get your parents to help cut it out), a piece of aluminum foil, a lemon, a small lightbulb,2 lengths of wire and a sharp knife. Once again, get your parents to help cut small slits in each end of the lemon. Wrap the foil around the cardboard and put it in the hole at one end of the lemon. Put the penny in the hole at the other end. Connect one wire to the penny, one to the foil and each to the lightbulb then watch it light up! The reaction of the foil and copper in the penny with the lemon create a rudimentary battery.

Or take some Wint-O-Green Life Savers in the bathroom and shut off all the lights and bite down on one while your mouth is open and see the sparks in the mirror.

Mmmmmmm next time try taking the brillo pad and drip it in caramel, add some sprinkles, granola, nuts, and m&m pieces. Then dip it once again into melted chocolate, add some roasted pignoli, glass shards and coconut shavings. Chill until ready to serve. It's outstanding!

Lisa: There's nothing to eat for breakfast.
Homer: You gotta improvise, Lisa: cloves, Tom Collins mix, frozen pie
crust --
Lisa: Maybe mom just doesn't realize we missed her. We could go down
to the casino and let her know...
Homer: Oh, come on, Lisa, there's no reason to -- [takes a bite] --
let's go see Mom.

I'm guessing that helps keep you regular?

Something I inherited from my father: Peanut butter and potato chips. Preferably Wise.

One of my last experiments involved cresent roll dough, pepperjack and cheddar cheese and sliced pepperocini. Heat it in the oven for a few and add some hot sauce....
