This is for the NYPD, NYFD, EMT's, medical personnel and countless others for your dedication, courage and valor.
We are truly blessed to have you working around the clock saving lives.
As a lifelong NYC resident, I thank you all.

Never did the saying "we run in when everyone else runs out" ring so true.
God Bless You.

thank you giuliani
love and peace to all
What a shame it takes a tragedy of this magnitude to make people realize just how demanding a job the police, firefighters, EMT's, etc. all have. While not on such a grand scale, they deal with horrors like this on a daily basis.
Just as we will never forget the events of Sept. 11, 2001, let us also never forget the heroism of these brave men and women, and that they are a bargain at any price.
God Bless each and every one of you.

My prayers go out to all the lost fire fighters and police men and women families.
They died tragicly, but heroicly, and their lives will always be remebered.

Amazing. People who want to donate blood are being turned away. Military recruitment centers have young people lining up to enlist. Medical and Rescue professionals are swarming to the area. Unbelievable.

my pops is a retired DC firefighter. I remember being like 7 years old when i knew what he did. i asked him, what makes u wanna run into a burnning building to save strangers? he told me,
i'm not running into a building to save strangers. I am trying to save somebodys mother or father or child or fellow firefighter... then he spit on me and told me to get him a beer..
THANX TO EVERYONE WHO IS BUSTING THEIR ASS BOTH IN DC AND NYC. BRAVE MEN&WOMEN~
