I have been getting harassing IMs from an "unknown" AIM screen name. Today, for instance, this idiot IMed me asking if I liked his icon. It was an old picture from my WOW days before I had Steve erase them off of his site. I automatically block these stupid IMs, but I would like to report them to AOL somehow. Anyone know how I can do this or what steps I should take?


EDIT: Every time I block one screename, they make up a new AIM account and IM me from there.

I don't know the specific address, but you CAN report screennames of people harassing you on IM. I think the catch is they review the chat transcripts first to determine whether whwat was said constitutes them taking action. I'd assume if you just went to AOL.com it would be pretty easy to find where to go. They should have any chat transcripts available, since they spy on us and shit.

You could always just not let anyone who isn't on your buddy list IM you if you dislike getting harassed that much.

People will also always eventually stop harassing you if you completely ignore their IMs and don't reply to them at all.
