Montreal Bachelor Party

[Patches]

A friend of mine is getting married in July (sucker) and the plan for the bachelor party is go up to Montreal for a nite or two.

I heard its great, but I've never been. Anyone ever been? Know any good places to stay? Strip Clubs? Open for ideas here.

Never been, but a male friend of mine went a couple of years ago and raved about the strip clubs.

One of the best cities I have ever been to. The food is awesome, and there is a really nice casino there. Also the strip clubs rock. You are allowed to touch the girl!! and since you pay in canadian money, its nearly free(well, not anymore with the weakness of the dollar, but when I went). Anyway i have a great steakhouse for you to go to when you are there. I will have to look up the name though.

There's a club in the town of Lavalle, just north of Montreal, call The Harem. One of the girls working in this fine establishment on the night of my and my friends' visit was working particularly hard for us. She removed my friend's hat, rolled up the brim, and it's very possible that 9 months later there were little baby Tennessee Volunteer hats running around Nord des Lignes. That's my contribution to the Montreal stripper discussion.

Edit: Just in case your wondering, that means that going to Montreal is a GOOD thing.

2nd Edit: Bring money! I cannot stress this enough. In another club we went to, the bouncer working the door was, seriously, the biggest human being I've ever seen in my life. He was wearing a tux, and when we walked up I saw people giving him money. When my turn to pay came up, I asked how much the cover was. He said, "No cover. You just give me however much you think you should." I dropped half my roll. I'm not sure what it got me. As far as I could tell I got no better or worse service than anyone else in the place, but I didn't want to risk it.

Thanks all, but it doesn't look like its going to happen. Due to a shitload of conflicting schedules, and a lack of funds we are only able to do one night, and its a long fucking drive to stay for just one night.

We're either thinking of going balls out in Manhattan or AC.
