My friend moved to San Francisco a couple years ago and Ive been thinking of flying over there for a week or so. Whats the best site to get the cheapest tickets?
Preferably non crop duster tickets...

Buy direct from the airline's website. Cheaper that way, usually they have special deals and there is no middle man to pay.

Jeff's right. Priceline, travelocity, and such tend not to have better deals than buying directly from the airline.

I tried it Jeffs way, and found a pretty good deal on American Airlines, but then I tried a few of the sites and got a very good deal from Orbitz, 60 bucks less than I saw on any of the airline sites, and its on Delta...
And how come Jet Blue only flies to so little cities? I think it has like a list of 15 cities or so that it flies to and thats it...

A good tactic to use is using expedia or something to search for tickets, then find the cheapest airlines listed. Than go directly to those airlines website and od the same search. You don't save much, but I saved $5 from Continental doing that.
As for Jet Blue, that's how they keep their prices down.

yeah but try changing an Orbitz ticket, should you have a change of plans. The airlines are less helpful when it comes to that.
Jetblue, you must remember is a fairly new airline. But they are expanding.

I find this to be the same with hotels.
