That's right folks!
Come on out to The Wicked Monk on 5th Avenue in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn (Home of the world famous Iris) on Saturday, June 12th for yet another R&F Show reunion.
Only 5 bucks to get in and see the Original Ron and Fez Show Band, Crankcase, rock out. Due to the close proximity of some of R&F's favorite callers and favorite show guests, surprises will definitely be in store.
1/2 price drink specials, good ol Irish pub surroundings, and the SAFEST NEIGHBORHOOD in BROOKLYN, are just a couple reasons to spend your evening with some old pals of the show.
Who knows, perhaps Iris will show?
EASY ACCESS from the Verrezano Bridge, the BQE, the Belt Parkway, Exit 86th Street Exit. The R Train 86th street stop is one block away.
And for the people travelling from afar, The Best Western Gregory Hotel is just one block away.
So head on down to the Wicked Monk, in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn (http://www.wickedmonk.com) at 8pm Saturday June 12th for 2 sets of Hard and Classic Rock, and the loveable old pals of the R&F SHOW.

This is awesome news! I live very close to this place. I will do my best to be there and finally meet some of you nuts!

I'm in. I'm looking forward to meeting so many of my mutant friends, especially Platinum DeBarge, Frank Black, NYCHardcoremike and so many others.
This is a great pub, the ambiance is very gothic looking with gargoyles, crucifixes and some really creepy things from Ireland. The half price drink specials ain't too shabby either. I also know for a fact that some "very special guests" will be hanging out that night, so be there and bring your Moms!

I used to go to the Wicked Monk all the time when I lived in Bay Ridge. It's a great place. I wish I could be there.
Do me a favor, before the show, go to Fitzpatricks on 3rd Ave and have one of their bacon cheeseburgers for me. Then go to the show and hoist a Guinness in my name. If you spill a little, you can always mop it up with your free Guinness bar towel.

We've got a gig this Saturday? How come no one told me?
It will be a blast playing in Brooklyn, though, and I hope I get to see some familiar faces. It was a pleasant surprise having a bunch of you maniacs showing up at our last gig, and it's much appreciated.
And just for the record Mr. Staples, I sit out the Pink Floyd songs. I wouldn't sully my guitar with those foul strains.

Jersey Rich, thank you, and from a bass player, thats very cool, since ya know, a lot of Pink Floyd bass is well, it aint Flea.
Anyway; fine! Rip on one of my favorite bands! Maybe the guitar of Gilmour sucks major ass, beats me, I like his blues leads.
And lets assume the guitar bass and drums all suck ass. The synthesizers on the entire WYWH release, especially Welcom to the Machine, and the amazing organic synths Wright uses against the acoustic guitars on Animals, specifically 'Dogs' kicks ass. Ley Claypool [frog Brigade?] did the whole side, if not the whole album in concert. And the piano against blues wailing at the end of Great gig in the Sky? Hey I fucking love it. Sadly with Floyd, the more popular the hit, the shittier the song; gotta admit that.
Pile on!

The place was packed.
The guys did 4 encores, I joined them onstage to sing "Danny Boy" in my Irish tenor voice.
Mikey D stripped and did a "Bonham-like" 30 minute drum solo.
Gvac actually walked off the stage when they were doing Pink Floyd. He picked up a chick who looked about 13.
Rich got angry onstage and smashed his bass against some drunk's head. The chick was not hurt badly.
Best songs: Gvac singing Leo Sayers "When I Need You", Mikey D singing thGreek national anthem with Gyro sauce dripping down his face.(I think it was gyro sauce)
Guests included:
The Pointer, Bowzer from Sha Na Na, The Remote Producer, Dom DeLuise, The NYPD Aviation Unit, Johnny Franco, some black guy selling weed, Vincent Gardenia's son and so many others. I left early, my ears hurt. It was really a fun time. I see great things for these "Crack Case" boys!

Yeah your right, She deserved it.
As for all you people that didn't show. You suck.
Heckler, nice job on Danny Boy. I was suprised how emotional you were during it. There wasn't a dry eye in the house. Ecspecially Gvac, he was crying the whole time. Muttering something about a girl and some matchbox cars dipped in bosco syrup and cornstarch. I wanted nothing to do with bosco syrup after the last time so I moved away from that mess.
It was a good time though.
