Couldn't remember if it was supposed to be 7:30am today or tomorrow, so I flipped on Imus when I got in my car this morning. I was just in time to hear him plug the appearance for tomorrow, but then he he mentioned that he was already "scooped" on this topic. Naturally, he didn't finish his thought & trailed off into a live commercial.

I didn't have the patience to listen in later to see if he explained that comment & couldn't find any references to it on the NY Post & Daily News websites. Does anyone know what he was talking about? Has there been an anouncement, a blind article, anything?

Imus: I heard my good buddies Opie and Anthony are supposed to be coming on this show tomorrow to announce their future plans.

Some Lackey: They're going to Sirius Radio, where they'll be able to do whatever they want.

Imus: (laughing) Well if they were coming on this show, I figured they would have called up. After all, I adopted Opie as my son.
