wireless router/wireless internet

I have a wireless router connected to my comcast cable modem. I love the convenience of not having to worry about running wires through the house and so forth. But lately as the weather has been getting warmer the connection seems to have slowed down drastically, I am curious to know if the humiditiy or head can have an effect on the wireless signal. My computer has been in the same spot the whole time, I havent moved it to a different location or anything.

My wireless router keeps losing connection. It's been happening about once a day since I set up my second PC downstairs (used to just use it for my PC and PS2).
