For some reason I was thinking of this in the afternoon and I hadnt even gotten high...how come the keys on the keyboard are laid out the way they are instead of a) a different variation or the b) just regular A, b, c order...someone tell me, I need to know or else i wont be able to sleep tonight.

It could have been easily a Divorak layout, which some people use and some argue that it is far easier to type on if your like me and "hunt and peck"...

What's really a bitch is the fact that then Q, [, ], ', and / keys are all out of reach/all require the pinky to opperate, with the exception of the Q.

QWERTY and Dvorzak both seem a bit off in the the most common letter of the language is given to the left hand on what are already two right-handed biased keyboards. and with QWERTY even N,S and T up there with E could go elsewhere id say.
